This charming Devon bungalow was originally a tricky layout for family life, with spaces that felt disconnected and underused. Our goal was to reimagine the home to create a fluid, functional layout that supports modern family living while celebrating its beautiful natural surroundings.

We moved the kitchen to a more central position, opening up the flow and creating a hidden larder and a recessed utility room — smart storage solutions that keep clutter out of sight. The lounge was redesigned around a stunning fireplace feature, balanced with bespoke cabinetry flanking the TV for a seamless, elegant focal point.

Inspired by Nature

Surrounded by lush Devon hedgerows, the palette was inspired by the calming greens and natural textures outside, bringing the beauty of the outdoors into the home to create a tranquil, inviting atmosphere throughout.

The Primary Suite

The bedroom became a bijou retreat — cosy and intimate — perfectly tailored for rest and relaxation. The ensuite bathroom features luxe marble floors laid in a herringbone pattern, paired with classic square wall tiles. Gold accents tie the scheme together, adding warmth and subtle glamour.

A carefully planned lighting scheme enhances every space, with layered lighting designed to create a soothing ambiance by night while providing practicality by day.
